Under the Oak | Original Oil Painting

'Under the Oak' tells the story of a Clydesdale seeking shade on a hot sunny day. The reference for this piece was taken by a photo I took of our own mare Bonnie out in the field, where we are lucky enough to have ancient parkland with historic trees. I think this scene is timeless - it could be a snapshot from centuries ago and still look the same! This is the magic of the countryside for me - green spaces, ancient trees and wonderful animals. So much heritage and history in one place! 

This is an original oil painting on board. It measures 16x20 inches and is currently unframed (a simple black frame can be included by request) . The painting is varnished and created using the highest quality oil paints to ensure preservation for decades to come. 

Original paintings can be shipped (with the utmost care!) and are always sent fully tracked and recorded. The cost of shipping is included in the price.
