I was honoured beyond words to be asked by the Fell Pony Society to provide artwork for their Centenary celebrations and the making of a very special gift for HM the Queen. We wanted to create a usable, personal item that would have special meaning to Her Majesty. 

Many months of discussion and work culminated in the production of a silk headscarf, featuring Her Majesty’s own fell pony Carltonlima Emma, as well as elements from the Queen's racing colours. I was honoured to be able to use the most beautiful reference photo taken by renowned photographer Bob Langrish of the Queens mare. The headscarf as well as my original framed drawing were presented to Her Majesty on the 13th May 2022 at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

A true honour and a privilege.
