The quiet whisper of an owl in flight is something magnificent to behold. With this drawing I wanted to emulate that serene moment of an owl mid flight - if you've ever seen one you'll know how magical it is to see an owl and the beauty they have as they emerge through the darkness.
This piece was completed using coloured pencils on hot pressed watercolour paper, so the details are intricate and crisp but with soft blending. It comes professionally framed into a bronze swept frame, mounted using acid-free board, and glazed with UV resistant perspex (which prevents fading).
The framed size of this piece is 87.5 x 69.6 cm.
