Nocturne Print on Paper

This night time scene evokes a sense of calm and tranquility. The textured landscape encompasses a variety of pinks, purples and blues which evoke heather-covered moorland, and a broad swathe of landscape un-occupied by people. Two hares gaze out across the land, watching as the sun slowly lightens the night sky. The atmosphere created by the deep blue sky with stars shining is that of a peaceful night shortly before dawn.
