This painting was heavily inspired by trips up to Scotland, specifically to Loch of the Lowes, where Ospreys nest and live their lives before migration.
Loch of the Lowes is an incredibly tranquil place to visit, with so much wildlife to see, but a beautiful calmness about it. The serenity of the loch is recreated using hazy, muted greys with the highlight being the osprey flying overhead.
Giclee prints are produced onto Hahnemuhle Pearl rag, an archival paper which maintains vibrant colour. Prints are faithfully reproduced from the original and come with a certificate of authentication.
