This piece was borne from the idea of both being at peace with being a bit introverted and happy in your own space, but also acknowledging that we always need our friends and family! A sense that whilst you can be totally happy spending time on our own, if you're fortunate in life - there's always a 'house across the valley' you can visit for companionship.

This is an original oil painting on board and is currently un-framed. Original paintings can be shipped (with the utmost care!) and are always sent fully tracked and recorded. The cost of shipping is included in the price.

I recently discovered Laura through Facebook and was in awe of her talent to paint such beautiful landscapes, nature and animals. I purchased an original painting which arrived today and I was left speechless upon opening it. It was even more beautiful in person than the pictures on the listing had been able to capture and it was somehow even better than I had hoped it would be! Nothing was too much trouble for Laura, she was happy to answer any questions I had before making such a big purchase. Really is a bit of joy

Magnificent!! …Highly recommend!!

I’ve commissioned two colored pencil drawings of our family dogs. Laura’s work is impeccable. There was constant communication and progress updates throughout the entire process. The drawings were life like and the details were incredible. Right down to a reflection in the eye of my son taking the original photo of his dog. Simply amazing work. I highly recommend Laura.
